DESCRIPTION:WHAM Day Ride – Roof of Wales. Starts at the Shell Filling Station at Starbucks Wooferton\, meet at 08:30 to organise riding groups for a 09:00 start. \n\n\n\nStarting from Wooferton\, we head to the Trout Inn in Beulah for a petrol stop (grab a quick bottle of water from the garage) via the Sennybridge ranges.\nWe then do the Devils Staircase and Lynn Brianne loop to our lunch stop at the Owls Nest in Llandovery.\nThe route then takes us over the military ranges to Tirabad\, finishing at Crossgates for a coffee then head home.\n\n\n\n NOTE: Our ride-outs are for WHAM Full Members only. SUMMARY:WHAM Day Ride - Aberdovey via Mountain Roads
DESCRIPTION:Starting at Starbucks Wooferton. \nLeg 1 – Some familiar roads to start with then it gets interesting on the Llanbister road\, ends up at the Halt Cafe south of Rhayader for coffee. \nLeg 2  – Uses some brilliant mountain roads not seen on any of our regular routes. Ends in Aberdovey where we park up in the main carpark. DESCRIPTION:Our traditional Easter Sunday outing to the Elan Valley. Meet at Starbuck’s Wooferton (note change of start venue) @08:30 for a 09:00 start. Route comprises 3 Legs: Leg 1 – A loop over the Shropshire Hills and down to Kerry then up over Llandiloes to Rhayader & the Elan Valley Visitor Centre – 71 Miles Leg 2  – The highlight of the day through the Elan Valley\, Devils Bridge and back to Crossgates – 60 Miles Leg 3 – Return to Wooferton – 37 Miles Join us for as much of the ride as you wish\, ETA at the Elan Valley is 10:45. SUMMARY:WHAM Day Out - Chepstow & The Brecon Beacons
DESCRIPTION:WHAM  Day Ride Chepstow and the Brecon Beacons. Starting at McDonalds in Hereford\, leg 1 takes the road to Monmouth\, skirts around Chepstow Park to pick up the (brilliant) road to Usk and the Baffle Haus Cafe for a coffee. (54 miles). Leg 2 Takes us up the moor to Blaenavon then joins the Heads of the Valley road before we get to the B4560 over the Beacons. This leads us to the excellent road through Upper and Lower Chapel to Builth Wells then loops back to the Honey Cafe at Bronnlys for a late lunch. (67 miles). Leg 3 goes back over the Beacons to our start point via Skenfirth. (52 miles).  As usual\, all of the above is optional\, please join us for as much as you can\, it should be a good day out on some excellent roads. Meet at Hereford at 08:30 for a 09:00 start. DESCRIPTION:WHAM Dayout – Rutland TT.\n\nUsed by the Journalists from most of the UK’s motorcycling press as a road test route\, the Rutland TT offers WHAM Members something a little different to our usual days out in Wales.\n\nLeg 1: Starting at Mc Donalds Wychbold (just off the M5 Junction 5) we make our way on a good mix of roads to the first staging post on the Rutland TT\, McDonalds Market Harborough.\n\nLeg 2: This leg takes us around Rutland Water then North\, bypassing Grantham to the lunch stop at Syston Park Farm Shop.\n\nLeg 3: Returns to the West of Rutland Water to McDonalds at Market Harborough for a coffee before the long trek home.\n\n\n\nThis will be a fairly long day out\, especially for those travelling from the Hereford area so I’ve left it up to you how you get home\, I expect most of you will punch your home address in the satnav and use the fast roads.\n\nPlease arrive at the start point at 08:30 for a 09:00 start.\n\nAll of the above is\, as usual optional. DESCRIPTION:Starting at Starbucks in Wooferton\, this route uses roads that will be new to many WHAM riders. First stop is the famous Ponderosa Cafe for breakfast. Then we ride some of North Wales’ best roads to Lake Bala and return to Wooferton through the Welsh borders.\n\nNote that this is a full day out (220 miles round trip) however feel free to plan your own route back from any of the stops if you need to be home early.\n\nNOTE: Wales have different Covid restrictions to England. DESCRIPTION:  \nStarting at Hereford McDonalds\, today’s route takes us around the same route as June’s ride out but in the opposite direction\, the ride feels completely different this way round\, especially the last leg which seems much better going South. \nLeg 1 – Starting at McDonalds Hereford the routes takes us down to Three Ashes then accross to Abergavenny via the excellent Skenfrith Road. Then we follow the Usk Valley and B4560 to our breakfast stop at the Honey Cafe. \nLeg 2  – Heads up the Wye Valley\, crossing the river on the way to Builth Wells to use the more interesting B road.
