WHAM Day Ride – Ponderosa Cafe

Starting at Starbucks in Wooferton, this route uses roads that will be new to many WHAM riders. First stop is the famous Ponderosa Cafe for breakfast. Then we ride some of North Wales’ best roads to Lake Bala and return to Wooferton through the Welsh borders.
Note that this is a full day out (220 miles round trip) however feel free to plan your own route back from any of the stops if you need to be home early.
NOTE: Wales have different Covid restrictions to England. Please remember to wear a mask and stay in your riding groups (maximum 6 people) when indoors. Full details here.

WHAM rides are only open to Full Members of Worcester & Hereford Advanced Motorcyclists.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before scheduled time to sort riding groups. Please refer to our Program Page for ride-out details.
Please familiarise yourself with our Group riding Policy before joining a ride-out.

All riders are reminded to check the weather forecast before each ride. If the temperature falls below 3 degrees please remember that the road temperature can be lower and there will be a risk of black ice. In addition heavy flooding and high winds add considerable risks to motorcyclists. WHAM will not normally cancel rides due to weather conditions so it is up to each rider to make their own decision whether it is safe to ride or not.
