DART! - Off-road training day Saturday 27th March 2010

The training school we will be using is 16 miles North-West of Welshpool. To make the best of the day we will stay overnight on Friday 26th March in Llangynog at the New Inn Hotel which is very close to the school. Mick Extance will join us on Friday night and we will hear more about his Dakar Rally experiences.

The Bikes (Honda CRF 250X or CRF 450X for the adventurous!) are provided by the school. Similarly all rider equipment (boots, helmets, clothing, gloves and waterproofs) will be provided so you not having the right kit is no excuse!

On Saturday after breakfast we start at the school around 0930, there will be a break for lunch around 1300 and we will finish (or be finished!) by 1630. Our previous experience of this type of event is that it is invaluable in improving your road-riding confidence and ability; you don’t need to be contemplating regular off-road riding to benefit.

Cost is £180 per person for the training and the New Inn B&B is £20.
